How it works

Enter notes such as C4 E4 G4. Use sharps or flats, add R for a rest, and attach :2 or /8 when a note needs a different length.

Use scientific pitch names: middle C is C4; F#4 and Bb3 are both supported.
A colon gives duration in beats: C4:2 lasts two beats. Slash notation uses note values: C4/8 is an eighth note.
